These chicks hatched over the Easter Weekend. They are in the kitchen in a tub.

The September 27th blood moon was an interesting challenge to shoot.

In an old tree near our house is a woodpecker
nest in plain view of the road.  I hope to capture more
pictures of the chicks as they grow.

Winter drags on at this time of year.  Yet if you look carefully there are interesting photos to be discovered.
The one I like best is the upside down house in the water drop.

One advantage of shorter days this time of year, is that it is easier to see great sunsets.

This weekend was still warm and a walk in the gardens was a lovely break

This is a panarama of a sunrise that we saw from our deck a few weeks ago.  You can see the full moon that added to the beauty of the moment though it doesn't show up too well in this shot.
